Mini Festival of Reproductive Justice

Seeking Access to Comprehensive Health Services for Victims of Sexual Violence

The Reproductive Justice Mini Festival is a collaboration between IPAS Indonesia Foundation, Jakarta Feminist and Doctors Without Stigma to raise awareness of bodily autonomy and reproductive rights, especially for women and adolescent girls. The festival is also a forum for reflection on the extent of the government’s efforts to ensure access to comprehensive health services for victims and survivors of sexual violence.

The Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection (KemenPPA) noted that in 2023, there were 26,161 reports of violence cases with female victims, of which 12,056 were cases of sexual violence. Similar findings were reported by the National Commission on Violence against Women (Komnas Perempuan), which highlighted sexual violence as the most reported case.

This festival reminds us that violence still exists and that all parties must be committed to ensuring the rights of victims and survivors. Therefore, this festival tries to mobilize solidarity to continue fighting for reproductive justice.

Come and show your solidarity!
