The aim of this program is to increase access to Post-Miscarriage Care and contraception services in three regions in East Nusa Tenggara Province: Kupang City, South Central Timor Regency, and East Flores Regency. We face big challenges due to the remote location of the district and the lack of information related to reproductive health.
In this project, we have trained village health cadres to provide needed information, such as regarding contraception and the serious risks of unsafe abortion practices. They are also trained to refer patients to appropriate primary care and hospitals.
This project will continue until 2026, and we really hope it can have a positive impact on women in East Nusa Tenggara. With hard work and collective determination, we are confident that access to reproductive health services will continue to increase in these areas.
