In this project, our collaboration with the police has provided a major impetus to improve the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for handling cases of violence. This SOP was piloted at Polda Metro Jaya and is crucial to ensure that every case is handled in accordance with the applicable law and victims’ rights are fulfilled. This project was also an important moment for IPAS Indonesia to jointly build relationships with civil society organizations. A total of 22 organizations are involved in this project to jointly fight for women’s rights.
